Before starting your backsplash installation, make sure you have all the necessary tools and materials:

Applying Tile Adhesive
With the surface prepared, apply tile adhesive within the marked guidelines using a notched trowel. Work in small sections to keep the adhesive from drying out as you lay the tiles.
Tile Installation
Firmly press each tile into the adhesive, using spacers to keep uniform grout lines. Start from the bottom and work your way up, ensuring all tiles are level and aligned. Use a tile cutter or wet saw to make necessary cuts around outlets or corners.
Curing and Grouting
After placing all tiles, allow the adhesive to cure as per the manufacturer's instructions—typically at least 24 hours. Then, apply grout by spreading it across the tiles with a grout float at a 45-degree angle to fill the joints evenly. Remove excess grout with a damp sponge before it dries.
Sealing the Grout
If required, seal the grout to protect it from stains and moisture, following the manufacturer's instructions for application and drying times.
